The following downloads are available for the Nokia N810 internet tablet

The larger packages all install into the location /usr/local on the Nokia.

This allows the packages to be installed onto either the  internal or external flash memory to avoid free space limitations.

• To do this first save any data you have on the flash memory 
• Reformat the memory in ext3 format
• copy your saved data back across
• create a sym-link from /usr/local to a location on the flash memory
• edit /etc/profile to include /usr/local/bin inthe PATH variable
  
• now install the software packages

These bindings seem to work well with the version of ruby (above) that I have installed on my machine.  Please let me know if it works with the version that is in the maemo repository. Otherwise you can download the source and build the package yourself.

These bindings have been uploaded to the maemo extras repository and work with the standard maemo ruby and qt4 packages .
